Place for Budget stay”
The Place is dated and just kept up to minimum standards for Westerners. If you book a standard room, you better not be a light sleeper, as these room are very close to the outside bar area where they play music loud and doesn't stop until around midnight. We were probably the only quests there for the 4 days we were there, and regardless the music will play if people are there or not. For Breakfast, we had to go to there sister hotel (Alvares), but the choice was limited due to no one in the hotel and we had to order directly for what we wanted. They even ran out of Bacon on the second morning and never tried to get some in for my remaining stay.

Good and bad”
The hotel is old they have just opened a new one just a minuets walk away, called awarez I think and is much more modern and better as we had to take breakfast there, I looked it up and only 100 baht more per night wish I had known before. But the the thepnakorn hotel was clean and staff was excellent with the little English they knew, I would stay again if no rooms at the new one. two bad points was 1:Everything closed shops, lobby bar, massage and beauty moved to the new one 2: rooms and hotel very old but still good standard but more a 2-3 star hotel

I had a great stay at The Thepnakorn Hotel”
I had a great stay at The Thepnakorn and would recommend to anyone thinking about staying there. The room was a good size, the staff very friendly and accomodating, the food was great and the bar very relaxed. There is a good size swimming pool and the city centre is a couple of minutes away. There is a miny bus service to anywhere available from the Hotel. I would definately stay at The Thepnakorn again.

Comfortable stay in an old-ish hotel.”
The room could do with a bit of a makeover but was otherwise comfortable. Windows were a bit dirty and some electrical (shielded) wires were protruding from behind the pillows on the bed. Given it's location (Buriram is not a major tourist hub) the hotel had a variety of facilities (swimming pool, massage, singers) and was comfortable enough.

Buri Ram”
I booked an executive room the manager saw that we were there for 10 days and upgraded us to a VIP room at the end of the wing for no extra charge, the room was huge. Hotel is showing its age and they have just opened a brand new hotel at the rear of this one although you can't get a room for £16 a night for two including breakfast in there. I would not hesetate to book there again and enjoyed our stay.

Old and run down hotel”
My family goes to Buriram at least 1-2 times a year for race competition at BRIC. Will not stay in Thepnakorn for my next visit. Hotel is very tired and run down. No taxi facility. Needed front reception to call a taxi which is unmetered, ie, flat rate. Hotel has own vehicle that you can charter but do not accept the offer immediately without negotiating the rate. Breakfast is served at a nearby hotel (Alvarez) which is in the same premise. Alvarez seems to be a better and more conducive hotel to stay in, though I have not stayed in the rooms, but Alvarez seems a lot fresher than Thepnakorn.

Friendly, relaxing and budget friendly”
For $30 a night it was superb! Pool was good, staff were friendly..no complaints! I had read previous reviews where people had said mixed Thai and Falang were not welcomed but absolutely not the case. Staff were brilliant and understood Thai, English and Cambodian. Would definitely stay there again if my house had not just been completed!!!

Pleasant Hotel”
My thai wife and i have stayed here 6 times now its close to where her family live about 10 mins on her motor bike .I like the swimming pool which catches the sun most of the day so the waters not too cold and its never crowded.the rooms are clean and comfortable and very spacious and excellent value for money particularly if booked on line.Im not sure the staff speak much English but for us thats not a problem as my wife talks with the staff when needed and my small amount of Thai is enough to get by.

Old hotel but good location ”
Hotel is located on main road, it's easy for people who come with own car. Lobby is nice and clean. Room is old style and old. It is used to be 4 star hotel. Staff is useful and friendly. The price is reasonable, but should renovate or changing some furnitures

Hotel needs a makeover”
Old, probably once majestic country hotel sadly now a bit run down and in need of refurbishment or knocking down. Check-in was fine, but the offer of a golf buggy ride to a nearby hotel for breakfast the next morning was declined. The hotel is old but the rooms were clean enough and the bed was fine. Plumbing was poor and there wasn't much hot water on the upper floor. The Beer Garden could only manage beer despite having a cocktail menu. The location on Agoda was described as city centre, but was actually on the edge of town. Nearby there were a couple of excellent barbecue places. I got an excellent price on Agoda so the hotel's shortcomings were not a problem - I'd stay there again for the right price.

Average enjoyment and comfort”
I was a little disappointed with some of the facilities. The wifi Internet was hit and miss and could be available for 5 minutes and then unavailable for 3 or 4 hours every day.The swimming pool developed an algae problem so was out of order for a few days. The breakfast was good and the room service and housekeeping were reasonably efficient. It is described as a City Centre Hotel but is in fact on the outskirts of the City. It is easy to access the Airport, which is approximately 34 kms away.

Supposedly nicest hotel in the area”
This place is so random, I guess if you end up here its because you got lost. I ended up here by accident after seeing the temples and I was exhausted so I just picked the nicest hotel in the zone according to Trip Advisor. It was fine, I slept great and ate well at a small local dive accross the main avenue. The staff barely speaks English...but guess what. Youre in the middle of nowhere Thailand...what do you expect? ;)

A bit overpriced”
It is a very tired old hotel that wants to act like a luxuary hotel. It needs a lot of work. It's just very old and needs a facelift. The windows were leaking in the bedroom. Soaking the carpet. The water was dripping on our table in the restaurant. The food was edible but not fantastic. I have paid less for a better hotel. (Nasa Vegas in Bangkok) I'm sure it wasa very nice hotel in it's day. But that day is over.

Very Good, it's important to distinguish between old and new Hotel with the same name. I would recommend it to freinds.
