Best services & location”

This trip is my first time to Abu Dhabi and I do not know any thing about this hotel before. I hv decided to book this hotel because it is under Shangri-La group. I expected high standard fm the international chain. I was not disappointed at all, I am very pleased with its location, services and price. This hotel is located by the sea that have the private beach in front of the hotel. The sands is so clean, the sea water is so clear. We can see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque that is the third largest Mosque in the world.This hotel is located next to Shangri-la hotel so we can use their facilities such as swimming pool as well. The services are excellent, the staffs are friendly and helpful. This hotel is giving their guests for free shuttle to airport, down town, shopping mall, Mosque and Ferrari world as well. My flight fm BKK hv arrived Abu Dhabi about 7am,and they alloe us to check in immediately with out any extra charges. The cost is the same level of 3-4 stars but we are getting the same service & using the same facility as 5 stars hotel. Definitely we will be stay in this hotel again if we go to Abu Dhabi next time.

Traders Abu Dhabi has come to become my desired hotel when in Abu Dhabi. It is not far from the airport and almost the same distance to the city center if need to be there. Parking and wifi facilities available and free. The staff is polite and professional, and of course friendly. always like the comfort of the bedding, the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room, the nice café and beach dining area. Most of all, the good service of the brand being maintained at a high standard...also convenient to and from the airport.

this is an outstanding hotel. it is not quite as elite as it's bigger brother, the shangri-la, but staying here allows you access to there, which has very good dining, and is worth a visit just to see that hotel itself. the experience of staying at this traders hotel, was a rare opportunity to really have a hotel stay be not just a place to stay, but an integral fun point of the holiday. it is an awesome 'beach walk', especially at night, to see the lights and the main mosque opposite. the hotel staff are as good as anywhere i've ever stayed (and i've been in some very nice hotels before). the room was also a good (though slightly strange) shape. to top it all, i would not say that this hotel was expensive at all, for what we experienced. a really strongly recommended hotel, within the price bracket we paid. this hotel will live long in the memory; i can't sing praises enough!

Great location wonderful service”

wow!!!!!!!! i have traveled all over and stayed in many hotels, especially america, well america needs to take lessons from this hotel!! now we did get the upgrade, and for a family of 3 it is well worth it. all rooms get new bottles of water everyday, there is tea & coffee in your room, the amenities in the bathroom are so that you dont need to bring yours. we had the upgrade so we had fresh fruit everyday! now with the upgrade you got to enjoy the breakfast in the lounge on the 9th floor, wonderful selection of fruits, yogurt, cheeses, nuts, local cuisine and made to order eggs and pancakes,fresh breads & pastries juices, coffee, tea and sodas!through out the day you could go grab drinks, and at some point they would have have out more fruit and put out a little baked good. in the evenings they would have drinks(beer, wine & liquor, you pour!!!!) and "canapes" which was more then enough for us for our dinner. so i def recommend the upgrade. the beach???? wow, how relaxing,i believe it is a man made beach, kind of on a waterway, but still a beach! there are hotel workers on the beach and they come make up your lounge chair for you and bring you cold water, they check on you through out the day. you can also tell them when you want a beverage from the restaurant, and they will send a server over, no food though:( now the restaurant i thought was a little pricey, but they do have a nice salad bar, that is not on the menu, it usually comes with an entree, but they allowed me to get it with my soup and did not charge extra. the pool has the best food deal, burger or pizza with a beer was a great deal!! you can always walk to the souk next door where there is a grocery store, and there are plenty of items you can buy for lunch, we always got a cornish pasty and there is a microwave in the store you can use. so when we go back to abu dhabi, this is my pick, no its not in downtown, but its a short drive to malls, shopping and downtown,personally i wold rather be here!!

Amazing hotel that prides itself on fantastic service”

This hotel is truly amazing and very modest in its description and photos. The facilities are fantastic, a good small gym with quite good equipment, a nice small pool with poolside bar, spacious rooms & bathrooms, great WiFi (often overlooked), good breakfast and food available, vallet parking and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this hotel. One of the best features of this hotel is the private beach. It’s is fantastic and relaxed, but there is volleyball should you feel active. It is really hard to find any negatives about this hotel. Arguably some may say the location, however, if renting a car it is central to make trips to Dubai, Yas Island etc. In addition to central Abu Dhabi. Everything is quite far apart so I think the location is good. Plus you can’t get a private beach without being a little outside the centre. The best thing about this hotel is they aren’t offering a good service for additional money, they don’t throw in charges for extras. Fully recommended.

2nd time stay”

Staying at the Traders Hotel is a must do in Abu dhabi. Although it is expensive it is worth it. The rooms are beautifully designed, very comfortable and well equipt. We stayed on the 4th floor and overlooked the city which was incredible. It is extraordinary! The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend enough.

i spent the nicest day in my life in traders hotel abu dhabi i loved the room size and swimming pool the beach is exlent with unbleavable view i advice all of my friends to try the hotel so they will feel something nice in life it is fantastic hotel i ever entered in abu dhabi.

Modern hotel centrally located in Abu Dhabi”

Hotel was clean and modern. It looked to be one of the more recently constructed hotels in Abu Dhabi and appeals to a slightly younger crowed which reflects in the price. We stayed during the Christmas holidays and signed up for the New Years Eve party which was a smashing success. The price for this was reasonable and I highly recommend it. The hotels is located in a complex adjacent to a souk within walking distance with a small market, coffee shop and rather expensive restaurants. The market didn't have any sandwiches which was odd as the one in a different location had excellent choices. There was a limited amount of lounge chairs on the beach so you had to reserve one early unless you wanted a mat to catch some sun on on the infield grass. The beach boys set you up with towels and a small cooler full of bottled water which we appreciated. We had to get our own coffee from the restaurant and any other beverages or food ourselves. Parking is valet only and the hotel is popular and quite busy, but the wait was nominal as there is no less than nine attendants managing the entrance. Late check out was available and no surprises.

Great hotel and warm and wonderful staff ”

Our first stay was for 3 nights then returned after 10 days. You feel welcome with the friendly staff from the concierge to the waiters at the restaurant. The staff at the Front Desk were simply warm, friendly, and pleasant with special mention of Mr Talaat who fits his job to a T. The rooms we had both city and sea view were great rooms. There was always a welcome basket of fruits on both our visit. A detail that is very Shangrila. I wish though they would add more restaurants though there are several to choose from in the nearby souk. Had a great stay in this hotel. And looking forward to another stay at Traders Abu Dhabi

From check-in to check out, our stay at Traders was amazing. Restaurant/dining options were superb, the beach bar amazing,and the luxury of the private beach very good. The hotel also offered a free city shuttle to go and see the sights of Abu Dhabi. The room was clean and well equipped. Fast internet and a comfy bed. I will be going back!

Overall Good Stay, but bathroom needs to be redone”

I live in Dubai and stayed for a weekend in Abu Dhabi at the Traders. Usually, I have very high expectations with the Traders, as I have stayed with them in other cities. For the most part, the Traders Abu Dhabi was positive. The front desk staff was very helpful and were efficient in their checking me in (even though my reservation was last minute). The room was a standard room and was comfortable. The bed a bit firm, but the pillows were very nice, and we had a nice view. The main issue I had with the room was the bathroom. The bathroom door opened and hit the toilet (not a big deal really). When I went to take a shower, I noticed the shower curtain and the shower curtain liner were on backwards. I attempted to change the water stream from tub to shower, and the plug was very hard to find. Finally, the shower head rod was too low, resulting in my having to shower bent over, and the shower head was shooting water everywhere. I expected Traders to be a bit better on this. They should make sure that someone from their staff stays in a room and experiences what we experienced. Then I bet it will get fixed sooner than later.

Lovely hotel and service ”

i loved the hotel as it was not crowded at all and it was very family type. also i liked as they upgraded my room to deluxe room as the superior room was not available, food is okay, they have café and restaurant on the beach, which is very nice and charm. all the staff were very nice. overall i shall repeat the stay definitely at traders abu dhabi. as me and mom have enjoyed so much.

I spent a weekend there with my daughter during her visit to the UAE. As a teacher in the Western Region Of Abu Dhabi I spend a lot of weekends in hotels. I was so impressed with the service and helpfullness at this hotel. I will go back there more often and recommend Traders Hotel to everybody!

Great place, good value for money”

I tend to travel to Abu Dhabi for business and Traders is a good choice. There is no hassle, it's in a gorgeous location and it is near the Shangri La which has beautiful restaurants and pool

Great hotel”

Traders in Abu Dhabi sits between Shangri La and Fairmont but is a less expensive alternative. it's fairly basic but in a great location, affordable and has really helpful staff. It's in the best area of Abu Dhabi. I highly recommend it.

Club Lounge Experience”

Traders gave us an option to upgrade to their club lounge floor which seemed like a deal given the lunches we could save and free cocktails to unwind. That was perfect given we only were in Abu Dhabi as an Etihad layover for 2 days. The only negative was the pool, too crowded and small.

Relaxing stay at the Traders”

Very comfortable stay, no complaints as everything was of a high standard. Busy time of year so waiting time at the restaurant was probably longer than normal expect 20-30 minutes for snacks. Breakfast was not included in the price which was disappointing as have stayed in many equivalent hotels which were cheaper and always had breakfast included in the price, however Abu Dhabi very expensive to eat out anyway. The complimentary fruit in the room was a nice gesture though.

Amazing hotel...”

we went to celebrate my partner's birthday. the hotel staff was extremely accomodating at the checkin and gave us a wonderful room with seaview. they setup a stunning arrangement for his birthday at the time i had requested, sent a cake and roses and made us feel very special. the room and bathroom were very clean, the room was made up as soon as we left it for breakfast, the bed was very comfortable, they have a pillow menu that enables the selection of the preferred type of bed and the bedsheets are of an extremely high quality. when we asked for late check out they gave us until 5pm!! amazing!! all in all nothing to complain about, on the contrary. we would definitely consider to go back on our next visit to abu dhabi.

Great Stay”

Trader's Hotel in Abu Dhabi was an overall wonderful experience. The room was adequately priced. Room service is professional done and Housekeeping is at your beck and call. They offer a great Breakfast experience and includes Asian, Indian, and Western foods. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner both indoors and outdoors. I personally tried both Breakfast and Dinner and enjoyed them both. The city is large and there is ongoing construction.
