แพอยู่แถวเขตเมือง ทางเข้าสังเกตยากหน่อย สงบเงียบ มีทางเดินไปตลาดเช้าไม่ไกล อากาศดีมาก ตรอกโรงยาก็อยู่ในระยะเดินได้ คนดูแลใส่ใจดี ตอนเช้ามีข้าวมันไก่โกตี๋เจ้าดังซื้อมาให้(แต่ส่วนตัวชอบร้านเจ๊นาหน้าปากซอยข้างศาลเจ้ามากกว่า) ข้าวเหนียวสังขยาก็อร่อยมาก ที่พักตอนไปน้ำลงมาก ผู้สูงอายุจะเดินลงลำบากหน่อย โดยรวมสะอาดดี หัวค่ำมียุง ควรเตรียมยากันยุงมาด้วย ตอนบ่ายๆ อากาศค่อนข้างร้อน แต่เช้าๆ กับเย็นๆ ลมพัดดีมาก บรรยากาศดีสุดๆ น่ามานอนเล่นฟังเสียงนกเสียงน้ำไหลค่ะ

ที่พักแบบชาวแพสะแกกรังแท้ๆ ที่หาโอกาสได้ยากแล้วที่จะได้สัมผัส ห้องค่อนข้างเล็กไปนิด และเตียงสองชั้นอาจจะไม่ค่อยสะดวกสำหรับผู้ใหญ่เท่าไหร่ แต่ถ้ามากันในหมู่เพื่อนแล้วพักแบบเหมาเต็มหลังรับรองสนุกแน่นอน เพราะแพกลางเค้าจะมีกั้นไว้เหมือนสระว่ายน้ำแต่ก็เป็นน้ำในแม่น้ำนั่นแหล่ะ พร้อมขึงตาข่ายไว้ให้เรียบร้อยปลอดภัยหายห่วง ส่วนเช้าวันรุ่งขึ้นแนะนำให้ติดต่อทางแพให้เค้าเช่าเรือนั่งชมแม่น้ำให้ ไม่มีอะไรจะดีไปกว่านี้อีกแล้วเชื่อสิ

แพหลักที่พักสะอาด มี 3 ห้องนอนบนแพซึ่งควรมาเป็นกลุ่มคณะเดียวกันเพราะต้องแชร์พื้นที่ส่วนกลางและห้องน้ำ ผนังห้องไม่เก็บเสียง แม่น้ำสงบ บรรยากาสต้นน้ำเป็นวิวเมืองไม่ค่อยสวย กลางน้ำมีแพอื่นของชาวบ้านเป็นวิว ปลายน้ำวิวดีพอใช้ แพไม่มีบริการใดพิเศษ ค่อนข้างเรียบง่าย แม้แต่ถ้วยชามหากผู้พักอาศัยต้องการใช้เป็นถ้วยจานกระดาษมีวางขายให้ชุดละ 25 บาท (รู้สึกว่าถึงกับต้องขายเชียวรึ) อาหารเช้าเป็นข้าวมันไก่จากตลาด อร่อยทีเดียว บนแพรู้สึกนิ่งเหมือนไม่ลอยน้ำเพราะมีเสาปักยึดในแม่น้ำแน่นมาก
