My wife & myself have spent a fantastic stay of 4 nites @ Siam Bayshore we had an ocean view room at the second floor with very nice view over the sea front we would recommend for better view the 3rd or 4th floor.The hotel is right on the walking street with plenty of restaurants.Walking street is worth to visit as from 8pm.Taxis in front of hotel in walking street not recommended better book with the hotel reception.We also visited the Pattaya floating market we took a tuk tuk for a 20' minutes drive from hotel.The breakfast at this hotel is amongst the best we ever had with great & different choices everyday.We strongly recommend this hotel.Great thanks to the hotel staff

Room and view were almost as amazing as pictured, which is rare. The view from inside this corner room was breathtaking, panoramic at 90 degrees. Only right underneath the hotel wasn't it very beautiful when looking directly there from the balcony. Hotel surroundings were a little messy and dirty as well. Location was only 5' away from the famous Walking Street and music could be heard until late at night though ... however this was quite expected in such a party location. Beach was on the other side of the walking street but very small and not attractive. Almost 1 hour-walk woukld be necessary to go to the other side of the bay to a decent beach. Anyway Pattaya isn't definitely a beach resort. Room itself was near-perfect, only the sofa / TV area could have been a bit more furnished. Huge shower and jacuzzi, as-new decoration with only one blind broken. Great central A/C, fridge and perfect, smart housekeeping. Staff was helpful and polite yet could have been a bit smilier.

Two single USA guys rent two rooms off Walking Street.....of course we will bring ladies back with us! So why the nasty looks to us, and why be rude to the ladies? We were not drunk and disorderly, we were rather quiet. Room was very nice, and cleaned well every day. Being off W. Street, I was worried about noise until 5am....but I slept fine. I was on the 6th floor in the front part of the hotel & I had a great view of Pattaya Beach. The hotel parking area downstairs becomes a scooter/motorbike parking area every night.....they cram over a hundred in there! The interesting part is that the bikes belong to all the "working" ladies from the bars nearby. This makes for interesting "people watching" at around 230-330am when the drunk ladies that didnt get a "date" go home. We witnesed a better Muy Thai fight between two ladies right out front, than the professional fight we saw in Bangkok at the stadium. 3 good rounds! Tell the staff to relax & I will return.

The location of this hotel is situated at the end of Beach Road and the beginning of the infamous Walking Street. I did not give five stars for the location of this hotel due to the fact that it is located above a beer garden and the noise can get loud easily into the early morning hours such as 4 am. I do not think the noise matters with which room you get since the beer garden spans the entire area of the hotel below. If you plan on getting a room with a view, request a room further down the hall. The hotel is lady friendly and does not require a joiner fee. In addition, the hotel will require your lady friend's ID for holding and logging so make sure she has an ID or they will not allow her in the room. This is excellent since it ensures she is of proper age and they will be able to track her down if something should happen. Walking Street easily had the most beautiful girls I've seen in Pattaya at the Ago-go clubs but its expensive. If you are looking for value and like the adventure of seeking a diamond in the rough, I would recommend you stay at a hotel somewhere closer to Soi 6 thru Soi 8. There is a restaurant next to the front desk with limited choices for breakfast but there are ample restaurants around.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and I have never been disappointed. Down a side street of beach road, you can be out in Walking Street in a few minutes but can't hear any street/party noise in your room. The location is awesome because you don't need to take transport and can easily walk to most locations. I picked a bigger room that had a sitting area for watching TV which was nice and gave the room a more open feel. I did have a problem with the DVD player the first day, but it was repaired the next day after I told the front desk. I booked online and the rate included breakfast. Nothing spectacular, but it's nice to roll out of bed and get some coffee and an American breakfast without having to go out to the main road. I had tried a different hotel on one of my previous trips to Pattaya, but I came back to Lido and I wasn't disappointed.

Awesome boutique style hotel with everything you could need in one the best locations possible. Tucked away in a small Soi just off Walking Street, this lovely little hotel has the works. Modern, well maintained, spacious rooms, washer and dryer, walk in shower and bathroom, comfortable bed, balcony, roof top pool, coffee shop, friendly helpful staff etc etc etc. Surrounded by great little bars and restaurants, it is just far enough away from Walking Street to be out of the hustle and bustle but 2 minutes walk and you're in the heart of the action. Highly recommended. Will be back.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Ambrosial Suites. We were welcomed by the owner who gave us excellent advice about nearby gyms, nightlife, shops, restaurants, etc. It really made a difference in our overall stay. The rooms are clean & well equipped, exactly like in the picture. The location is excellent, under a 5 minute walk from Walking Street, but far enough to not be too loud at night. I will stay here again.

i've stayed in many hotels pattaya and can say this is probably the best one i've stayed in so far. i'd certainly stay there again. this is on one of the side streets on the infamous nightlife hotspot of walking street. unlike many of the other hotels off walking street, this one is actually very nice. friendly & helpful staff, wifi in rooms, great reception, fridge, tv, very clean. great hotel to end up at the end of night partying on walking street.

it is very centrally located, just right down the alley of walking street. however it is easier to find the hotel from main road rather going into the walking street. very clean hotel, there is a restaurant / bar down the hotel. hotel is not too noisy unlike other budget hotel in walking street as it is a bit further down the small alley. good wifi connection. will come back soon

Nice & centrally located in Walking Street. Sea View. Internet is not accessable in the rooms. Only in the lobby. Staff at the counter is not friendlier at all. I have been staying in this hotel for almost 20 times in these 5 years and every time he speaks to all the guest in a roughly manner only. But only value for money & located in Walking street, dont have any other option than choosing this hotel. Service staff are all very friendlier.

I was a bit skeptical when I first entered the building as the entrance is not as great. But soon we realized that we get everything we needed. The plus was the helpful nature and smiling faces around. I heard many stories about Pattaya ( scary Ones) but these people changed my perception. we felt safe and secure and knew there is always someone if we need. Location is right near Beach and walking street and all the shopping. Easy access to most of the places. we got all the information to save our pennies while shopping and dealing with locals. Rooms are nice enough for the money you pay with everything working fine. The Value for money is most remarkable, for a hotel to have air condition rooms, free wifi, TV , fridge, safety boxes etc. we also enjoyed the firework festival in Pattaya. Nong Nooch garden and coral island are 2 must go places, however we didn't like the floating market. Nightlife at walking street is very good quality. we will definitely return to Encore, highly recommended.

I liked this place. It was cheap and literally in the middle of walking street but set back a little side street so not super noisy at night. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in here in Thailand. The staff was very friendly and nice. I would stay here again. The only downside is being on walking street you're farther away from the really cheap street food. So expect to pay almost double for food.

Positives: Location: Right across the street was a 24-hour 7-11store and a 24-hour McDonald’s. Thai street food close by and plenty of inexpensive restaurants including but not limited to Thai, Indian and Middle Eastern all within easy walking distance. Plenty to doo walking around, and easy access to public transport. Housekeeping: Although understandably shabby, the room and bathroom were both reasonably clean. The bed was okay, and the sheets were fresh and clean and in good conditions. Maintenance: Air conditioner and elevator both worked well and the sink had hot and cold water, which is something of a surprise at this price in Thailand. Some people commented the rooms were infested with bugs, but this was not my experience. I was in the room for three nights and did not see any bugs beyond the occasional fly. Negatives: Water pressure: Pressure in the sink was okay, but the water pressure in the shower was so low I ended up having to take the shower-head off to use it. Hot Water: First couple days the hot mater was fine. Last night and the following morning there was none. Location: While it was convenient for walking around, the area is noisy all the time. This is no someplace one would want to take their family. Parking: The hotel advertises parking, but they only have a three spots. They did not have a spot for me when I checked, but after some discussion they got some things moved around and I got parked. Did not want to take a chance on moving the car so ended up doing without it for the time I was there. It is defiantly not a 3-Star hotel, and I would not stay at the Cherry again. That said, if they fixed the water pressure I would recommended to to anyone without kids or a car that is looking for a cheap room in the area.

Kind of a newish no-frills hotel. I believe it used to be the CK Pattaya hotel. A lot of taxis still don't know it so get a hotel card but all in all I had a comfortable stay there. Pro: Excellent location near walking street if that's what you're looking for. Close to the all the action. Guest friendly with no extra charge. Spacious, clean room with a large bed and a rather big balcony. There's a room safe, hairdryer and 2 free water everyday. Very good WIFI too. Front staff attentive and spoke good English. Only 500 baht deposit for room key. Con: TV channels lacking, only basic Thai. So did not use it at all. At night it's going to be noisy until about 3 am. That didn't bother me as I usually got back late. However the hotel does offer free earplugs. The bathroom is rather small, only shower no bathtub. There's also no room service or restaurant in the hotel. I would stay here again but I booked late at the end of the year so it was a little pricey. Next time, I'll book earlier.
